Is there a difference between:

microblading, micropigmentation or the powder technique?

Yes, there is a difference between these 3 techniques. Differences are essential, each technique works with another device and has specific results. Microblading is a manual technique by which we can draw very thin curved lines, similar to that of the thickness of the hair, perfectly imitating the natural hair of the eyebrows.

The Micropigmentation technique and Powdered technique are performed using a special electrical apparatus. This Micropigmentation technique involves drawing more curved and thicker curved lines, while the Powdered technique involves biting and coloring the eyebrows, to obtain a thicker and more elaborate eyebrow appearance.

Micropigmentation

Often these techniques are used together. We use both techniques for clients who have rarer hair in their eyebrows or who have completely lost their eyebrow hair and need substantial intervention.

We work, and have tried all the techniques available on the market because each one suits a certain type of skin. A particular technique is chosen depending on the skin’s pH, the sebum in the skin, or on the look the client wants to achieve. We adapt to the needs of each client using the technique that best benefits them.

The Hybrid

Technique

The Hybrid technique combines the microblading effect with the folded eyebrow effect. This technique is used either at the request of the client, when it does not have too many strands of hair in the eyebrows, or when a correction of the shape is needed.

Our hybrid technique is suitable for people who want the effect of powdered / mashed eyebrows. The process of micro-pigmentation by Hybrid Technique represents the combination of two techniques, the one of Microblading – wire and the Powder technique, which offers the appearance of a powdered brow. We would say that this technique is ideal for clients with rare eyebrows, who want to get a frown effect.
This technique is also used when we deal with a sensitive skin (dermatitis, rosacea), oily skin or when the pigment cannot be preserved by the skin.
